Anthropic AI Updates: October 27, 2026

1. Anthropic Files S-1 for a Nasdaq IPO Under the Ticker “ANT”

Anthropic filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock. The company plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker “ANT”. It has not yet set the number of shares or the price range. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are named as the contacts for the preliminary prospectus. Shares cannot be sold until the SEC declares the registration statement effective. Source

2. Anthropic Releases a Claude for Nonprofits Plugin and Expands Claude Corps

Anthropic released the Claude for Nonprofits plugin, a set of skills and connectors built with about 30 nonprofit design partners. Its skills cover three areas: marketing, hiring, and board support; responsible setup, including mapping where donor, grant, and policy records live and answering staff questions about the organization’s AI use policy; and fundraising, including grant research with citations, RFP eligibility breakdowns, proposal and report drafting, and donor briefings. The plugin is free and installed automatically for nonprofits on Team and Enterprise plans. Anthropic also plans to expand Claude Corps, which is placing 1,000 early-career fellows in at least 400 U.S. nonprofits, through a partnership with the Taproot Foundation that matches nonprofits with pro bono consultants. Anthropic says more than 25,000 nonprofits use Claude and that over 75% of them have fewer than 10 seats. Source
