Perplexity AI Updates: October 30, 2026

1. Perplexity Enterprise Gets FedRAMP Moderate Certification

Perplexity said Perplexity Enterprise has achieved FedRAMP Class C (Moderate) certification, assessed by third-party assessor 360 Advanced. The company claims it is the only FedRAMP Moderate service of its kind with live web search, and says live queries are not shared with an outside search provider. Government agency data is covered by zero data usage protections and is not retained for training, improving, or evaluating models. Admins can use their own identity provider, restrict sharing and file actions, control connector access, set session retention, and send audit logs to a chosen endpoint. Perplexity is selling through GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule for federal agencies, resellers for state, local, and education customers, and direct sales to contractors. Enterprise Pro for Government remains $0.25 per agency through March 31, 2027, under GSA’s OneGov program. Source
