1. Managed Deep Agents Add Emoji Reactions for Slack-Connected Agents

LangChain. LangChain introduced a reactions feature for Managed Deep Agents v0.9 that lets Slack-connected agents acknowledge incoming messages with an emoji while they work on long-running tasks. The reactions attribute on channels.slack() accepts either a fixed emoji or a callable, which can be a simple heuristic or a decision model such as the TypeSafe Classifier with typesafe/jev-latest, with a fallback emoji when confidence is low. Other TypeSafe-compatible decision models can be swapped in through LangSmith LLM Gateway, and custom Slack emoji are supported by shortcode. Source
