1. Pydantic AI Ships v2.3.0 with Native Z.AI Provider and Thinking Support

Pydantic AI. Pydantic AI released v2.3.0, a minor version that adds a native Z.AI (Zhipu AI) provider with thinking support for extended reasoning. The release also carries several bug fixes, including TestModel setting provider_name on non-streaming responses, Bedrock tool results staying non-empty for empty lists, HuggingFace no longer silently dropping file content, and corrected handling of OpenAI thinking-only chat history. Additional fixes cover AGUIAdapter message reordering, safer instrumentation serialization, multimodal ToolReturnPart reconstruction, and dynamic toolset instruction resolution in Temporal workflows.
