1. xAI Launches Grok Voice Agent Builder as a No-Code Platform

xAI. On July 1, xAI moved its Voice Agent Builder from a developer beta to general availability, opening the no-code platform to all users at $0.05 per minute. The tool collapses speech-to-text, language model, and text-to-speech into a single interface built around Grok Voice, which xAI says delivers sub-second latency for real-time speech-to-speech conversations. Out of the box it bundles telephony, knowledge retrieval, tools, guardrails, and observability, and provides a free phone number for immediate testing alongside support for existing numbers, APIs, and MCPs.
