1. Amazon Quick Can Now Rebuild a Dashboard From a Screenshot of It

AWS extended Generate Analysis in Amazon Quick with two entry points. Generate Sheet adds a sheet to an existing analysis from a natural language description, selecting visuals for the underlying data and wiring up filter controls and calculated fields such as year-over-year and month-over-month comparisons. The second path takes an image of an existing dashboard and generates a new analysis from it, which targets migrations off other BI tools where the source definitions are not exportable. Source

2. Amazon Connect Talent Reached GA With AI Agents Running the Interviews

AWS made Amazon Connect Talent generally available, putting AI agents in the candidate screening loop rather than alongside it. The agents conduct structured voice interviews, administer assessments, and score candidates, with recruiters reviewing the resulting scores, transcripts, and written evaluations instead of running the first round themselves. AWS positions the scheduling model as the main throughput gain, since candidates interview at any hour from any device. Source
