1. Amazon Connect Ships Agentic CX Designer at General Availability

AWS. Amazon Connect Customer’s agentic CX designer is now generally available, giving business teams a no-code visual canvas for building voice and digital self-service flows. The tool mixes deterministic branches for outcomes that must be exact, such as approvals, with agentic LLM-driven turns for open conversation, and lets teams set guardrails and system integrations in the same canvas. It launches in nine regions, including US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), four Asia Pacific regions, and Frankfurt and London. Source

2. Amazon Quick Adds Per-Tool Controls and MCP Server Sync

AWS. Amazon Quick connector owners and administrators can now enable or disable individual tools within a connector, and decide per tool whether it requires explicit consent or whether end users choose for themselves. A new MCP sync capability keeps connectors current as external MCP servers add tools or change capabilities, rather than requiring manual reconfiguration. The controls apply to tools drawn from Outlook, Slack, Salesforce, Jira, and custom MCP servers, in every region where Amazon Quick is available. Source

3. SageMaker Unified Studio CI/CD Generates Deployment Manifests With an Agent Skill

AWS. SageMaker Unified Studio’s CI/CD toolkit adds a generate-bundle-manifest agent skill that inspects a project’s infrastructure and emits a deployment manifest with least-privilege IAM, hardcoded resource names replaced by environment variables, and secure defaults. The same release adds native notebook promotion: notebooks deploy alongside other project assets using in-place sync so execution history survives updates, with a dry-run mode that validates S3 access, IAM permissions, and notebook counts first.
