Anthropic announced that Claude in Microsoft Foundry is now generally available, allowing organizations to run Claude within their existing Azure environment using their current authentication, billing, and governance controls. Claude Opus 4.8 and Claude Haiku 4.5 are accessible through the Messages API with support for prompt caching and extended thinking, offered in both Azure-hosted and Anthropic-hosted deployment options.
