Vercel redesigned the trace viewer for Vercel Workflows to make inspecting workflow runs faster, which is used for debugging durable agent and AI execution flows. The update adds search across spans, timeline zoom, keyboard navigation for stepping through runs, and click-to-inspect step details showing inputs, outputs, and metadata. The viewer is also available in local development through the Workflow SDK with the npx workflow@beta web command. Source
