Commercial Agent Tools: October 25, 2026
1. Perch Organizes Claude Code Sessions on the Mac by Whose Move It Is
Perch. Perch, launched on Show HN on October 24, is an Apple Silicon Mac app that runs Claude Code sessions side by side. Each piece of work gets a “context” with its own session, next steps, status, PRs and links. The dashboard groups contexts by whether they are waiting on the user, a reviewer or teammate, Claude, or nothing. It runs the real claude CLI, imports existing sessions, keeps them running after the app quits, and offers a chat view for non-engineers. Data stays in a local database with no account or analytics. It is free during the beta, and the site does not state a license. Source
2. Multipeer Puts Teammates and Their Terminal Agents on One Shared Canvas
Multipeer. Multiplayer Labs posted Multipeer to Show HN on October 24, following its 0.4.0 release on October 23. The macOS app places terminal agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini on an infinite canvas next to terminals, files, notes and design frames. Each agent runs in a real terminal on the host Mac. Teammates join over the local network or the internet through an end-to-end encrypted invite link with a 6-digit approval code, and they can follow the host’s view or, with permission, take over a terminal or agent session. Windows, Linux and mobile apps are planned, and the site lists no pricing. Source
