Vercel AI Updates: October 25, 2026
1. Vercel CLI Exposes Spend Management Budgets to Scripts and Agents
Vercel. Vercel added a vercel budgets command that returns a team’s current spend and active On-Demand Budget, so developers and the scripts and agents they run can check costs from the CLI. Budgets can be viewed, set, and removed, and an optional --pause flag pauses production deployments of all projects when spend reaches 100%. A vercel budgets alerts subcommand lists budget alert history with --since, --until, --limit, and --json filters. Source
2. Interfaze Runs 50 Million Monthly Requests Through Fluid Compute and AI Gateway
Vercel. Vercel published a case study on Interfaze, which builds models for deterministic tasks such as document processing, OCR, object detection, web scraping, speech to text, and classification. Interfaze serves about 50 million requests a month with its backend on Vercel Fluid compute. It places multiple model providers behind a single fallback layer using AI Gateway. Source
