Commercial Agent Tools: October 18, 2026

1. CanvoWP Adds a Site-Building Agent Inside WordPress Admin

Berqier Ltd. CanvoWP, posted to Show HN on October 16, is a WordPress plugin with a built-in agent that designs pages, writes templates and content from plain-English descriptions, and checks its own output at desktop and mobile widths. Users refine the result by clicking elements on a visual canvas or chatting with the agent in wp-admin, and sites are saved as plain HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP files that remain in place if the plugin is deactivated. The agent runs through the user’s own OpenRouter API key, called from the server, with an optional monthly spending cap. The plugin is free with no paid tier, AI usage is billed by OpenRouter at cost (the company estimates about $0.50 for a five-page site), and it is distributed as a zip from its site with no source license stated.
