1. Grok Bot Now Proactively Suggests Work It Can Take On

Grok Bot. SpaceXAI began rolling out a capability that lets the Primary Bot in Grok Bot identify tasks it can handle and offer to take them on before the user asks. The company said the suggestions themselves do not count against Grok Bot usage, and the rollout is staged over several hours rather than reaching all users at once. SpaceXAI has not published details on how the Primary Bot selects which work to suggest. Source

2. grok-voice-transcribe-1.0 Reached End of Life, Requests Now Route to 2.0

xAI API. The grok-voice-transcribe-1.0 speech-to-text model reached end of life on October 2, 2026. All requests sent to that model slug are now routed to grok-voice-transcribe-2.0 at the same price, which SpaceXAI says offers higher accuracy. Source
