1. Eleven v4 and Eleven v4 Turbo Launch With 90+ Languages and a Low-Latency Agent Variant

ElevenLabs. ElevenLabs released Eleven v4, a text-to-speech model with finer emotional control through natural language descriptions and inline audio tags, multi-speaker dialogue handling, and improved International Phonetic Alphabet support, alongside Eleven v4 Turbo, a low-latency variant for conversational agents with a reported median time to first speech of about 150ms. Both support more than 90 languages, instant voice clones from 10 seconds of audio, and Professional Voice Clones. ElevenLabs says v4 ranked first on Artificial Analysis and was preferred by about 75% of listeners in blind head-to-head tests.
