1. Kimi K3 Arrives on the AI Gateway

Vercel. Vercel added Kimi K3, an open-source model from Moonshot AI, to its AI Gateway. The model features a 1M-token context window and native visual understanding across text, image, and video inputs, and Vercel positions it for frontend and game development workflows. It is reachable through the same unified gateway developers use to route requests across providers. Source

2. AI SDK xAI Provider Adds End-User Identifiers for Video

Vercel. Vercel released @ai-sdk/xai@4.0.15, which adds support for passing end-user identifiers to video generation and editing requests. The change lets developers attach a stable identifier to each request, giving the provider abuse-prevention and usage-attribution signals for video workloads. The update also shipped in the backported @ai-sdk/xai@3.0.109 release. Source
