1. Cox Communications Reports 7x First-Year ROI Scaling Claude to 15,000 Employees
Cox Communications, the third-largest cable provider in the United States, deployed Claude across 15,000 employees through Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and enterprise tools running on Amazon Bedrock. The telecom built multi-agent systems for B2B marketing and sales, covering lead validation, campaign creation, and seller enablement, and now counts more than 2,500 Claude Code users with over half coming from non-engineering teams. Cox says the rollout delivered a 7x return on its first year of AI investment as it extends agentic systems across the full sales lifecycle. Source
2. Kai Uses Claude to Eliminate Millions of Security False Positives in Hours
Kai, a cybersecurity startup building an AI-native platform for autonomous defense, uses Claude Sonnet and Opus models via Amazon Bedrock as the analysis layer that investigates, triages, and remediates security findings across enterprises. The company processed 2.5 million software composition analysis findings in under an hour and eliminated 99.5 percent of them as false positives, and separately investigated 250 million vulnerabilities in 20 hours while ruling out 83 percent as benign. Kai reports that the approach cut zero-day response time from days to minutes by removing human bottlenecks from the triage pipeline. Source
3. Claude Code v2.1.193 Adds Shell Command Classification and Bash Path Autocomplete
Claude Code v2.1.193, tagged June 25, added an autoMode.classifyAllShell setting that routes all Bash and PowerShell commands through the classifier, surfaced auto-mode denial reasons in the transcript, denial toast, and /permissions recent denials, and introduced a claude_code.assistant_response OpenTelemetry log event carrying the model’s response text. The release also added live file path autocomplete in bash mode, a startup notice pointing users to /mcp when MCP servers need authentication, and automatic memory-pressure reaping for idle background shell commands.
