1. Cohere releases North Mini Code, an open coding model for developers

Cohere. Cohere introduced North-Mini-Code-1.0, an open-source mixture-of-experts model with 30B total parameters and 3B active, released under the Apache 2.0 license. The model targets code generation, agentic software engineering, and terminal tasks, and supports a 256K context length with up to 64K maximum generation.
