AWS AI Updates: May 24, 2026

1. SageMaker Unified Studio brings domain management to Identity Center deployments

AWS. SageMaker Unified Studio extended its domain management surface to Identity Center-based domains, which previously lagged behind IAM-based domains for these controls. Administrators can now create and manage projects with configurable execution roles, govern which AWS analytics, AI, and ML services each project can reach, set VPC, subnet, and security group defaults that every project in the domain inherits, and attach associated AWS accounts so cross-account data publishing and consumption work without custom plumbing. The capability ships in every region where SageMaker Unified Studio runs. Source

2. AWS Security Agent auto-generates verification scripts for its pentest findings

AWS. The AWS Security Agent, the agentic penetration testing service, now emits ready-to-run verification scripts alongside each finding so security teams can independently reproduce a discovered vulnerability instead of following written reproduction steps by hand. Each script ships with setup instructions, documented environment variables, and redacted sensitive values, and is reachable from the findings UI by expanding the Verification Script section after a test completes. The feature is live in every region where AWS Security Agent is supported and is aimed at shortening the gap between detection, triage, and remediation. Source
