xAI. xAI rolled out a batch of four third-party connectors for Grok that let users deploy sites through Vercel, generate designs in Canva, assemble presentations in Gamma, and pull live market data from S&P Global, all from inside a Grok conversation. The release continues xAI’s pivot from positioning Grok as a chat assistant toward an all-in-one productivity hub, slotting it alongside ChatGPT connectors and Claude’s MCP integrations as a place where end-user workflows complete without app switching. The S&P Global tie-in is the most differentiated of the four because it brings paid market data directly into a consumer chat surface, which competitors have largely avoided for licensing reasons.
