Perplexity AI Updates: November 4, 2026

1. Perplexity Pitches Computer for E-commerce, Running Shopify, Meta Ads and Klaviyo Campaigns Behind Owner Approvals

Perplexity published a November 3 guide positioning Perplexity Computer as an agent for running e-commerce growth work across three connected services: Shopify for store data and landing pages, Meta for advertising, and Klaviyo for email marketing. In the workflow it describes, Computer analyzes recent Shopify product sales to recommend products or collections to feature, builds an on-brand landing page in Shopify that the team finishes in the Shopify editor, creates static Meta ads and new variations of successful videos using competitor research and existing ad performance, sets up the Meta campaign with consistent naming linked to the landing page, and builds or selects a Klaviyo audience and writes and schedules the matching email campaign. Brands can store design guidelines and brand voice as a skill that Computer applies across pages, ads and emails, and owners set goals, budgets (the example caps a two-week Meta campaign at $1,000) and which actions need review, such as publishing pages, sending emails or spending on ads. Perplexity says it routes different parts of the job to different models and offers setup assistance for ongoing workflows; the post does not list pricing or plan requirements. Source
