1. Apple Adds an Intelligent Assistant to Keynote, Pages, and Numbers

Apple. Apple released updates to Keynote, Pages, and Numbers that add Intelligent Assistant, a beta AI feature that requires iOS 27 and is tied to the Apple Creator Studio subscription. According to the release notes, the assistant can start and edit drafts with awareness of the open document, draft sections, adjust tone, generate images and shapes from natural language, explain app features, and search for current information to add to a document. Apple briefly pulled the three apps from the App Store after the update went out, and they returned first without the feature; Macworld later reported that Intelligent Assistant is live in all three apps.
