1. Mistral Launches Voxtral 3 Speech Models and a Voice Agent SDK

Mistral. Mistral introduced Voxtral 3 on October 20, a family of speech-to-text and text-to-speech models paired with a voice agent SDK that combines listening, reasoning, tool calling, and speaking in a single real-time streaming pipeline. Voxtral Small Transcribe 3 covers 50+ languages with diarization, context biasing, and end-of-turn detection, while a 4B-parameter Mini variant is priced at $0.0035 per minute. Voxtral Mini TTS 3 supports 35+ languages and 50+ dialects with voices that adjust emotion and pace to context, and a Pro Voice option adapts a speaker’s voice from about 30 minutes of audio. The models are available through Mistral’s EU-hosted API or for self-deployment. Source
