1. xAI Launches The X Subscription, Bundling Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium

xAI. xAI introduced The X Subscription, a single plan that bundles Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium with a shared pool of AI usage, available to new customers immediately and rolling out globally over the following days. Tiers are Free ($0), Limited Plus ($8/month), Base Premium ($30/month, 4x Plus usage), Super ($100/month, 15x) and Ultra ($200/month, 50x), with Base Premium positioned as replacing SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium+, which previously cost $90/month combined. Each paid tier includes at least twice the Grok coding usage of the comparable Cursor plan, and usage beyond the plan is billed at API list prices through top-ups. Existing SuperGrok, Cursor and X Premium subscribers can keep their plans or switch with a prorated refund, and Team and Enterprise plans use the same per-seat pricing while adding SSO, admin controls, consolidated billing, usage analytics and SOC 2 compliance.
