1. Mistral Released Mistral Large 4 in Public Preview

Mistral. Mistral Large 4 (mistral-large-4) is a natively multimodal, hybrid instruct-and-reasoning Mixture-of-Experts model with 1 trillion total and 49 billion active parameters, a 1M-token context window per the API changelog, and support for 160+ languages. Mistral reports 61.7% on DeepSWE 1.1 and 28.3% on Terminal Bench 4.0, with API pricing of $1.36 per million input tokens and $4.18 per million output tokens (discounted 50% for the first two weeks) through Mistral Studio. Open weights are scheduled for release by the end of October, which would make it one of the largest open-weight models available for self-hosted deployment. Source
