1. GPT-6.1 Sol Is Now Available on AI Gateway

Vercel. OpenAI’s GPT-6.1 Sol is available through AI Gateway as openai/gpt-6.1-sol, callable from the AI SDK, the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions API and the Responses API. Vercel describes it as an improvement on GPT-6 Sol for coding, computer use and professional work, with standard input and output pricing below GPT-6 Astra and cheaper cached input, which favors workloads that reuse long shared context. 2. Developers Can Now Submit Their Own Services to Vercel Connect

Vercel. Vercel Connect, the managed connector layer that agents use to reach third-party services, now accepts service submissions, so developers no longer have to wait for Vercel to build a connector. The flow covers describing the service, configuring OAuth or API key authentication, verifying OAuth by requesting a test connector token, and a Vercel review before the service is listed in the directory.
