1. GitHub Copilot Adds GPT-6.1 Sol for Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise Users

Microsoft. GitHub is rolling out OpenAI’s GPT-6.1 Sol to Copilot Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users on the same day as its DevDay launch, across VS Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Xcode, Eclipse, Copilot CLI, the Copilot coding agent, github.com, and GitHub Mobile. GitHub says the model is strong on agentic coding and terminal workflows and used notably fewer tokens than earlier GPT-6 and GPT-5.6 models in its testing. Business and Enterprise admins control access through model policies, and the model is enabled by default unless the global default is disabled or the model is blocked. Source
