1. Cohere partners with Carahsoft to expand sovereign AI in the US public sector

Cohere announced a partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp. to expand access to secure, sovereign AI across the U.S. public sector, with Carahsoft acting as a distributor for government agencies. The company said the arrangement makes its FedRAMP High-authorized, end-to-end agentic solutions available for deployment in fully air-gapped, on-premises environments with zero data egress, and lets agencies run multimodal and multilingual models. Cohere positioned its North platform as the basis for agencies to adopt agentic AI capabilities while meeting government security, compliance, and operational-control requirements. Source
