1. xAI Launches Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0

xAI. xAI released Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0, a next-generation voice model built for real-world voice agents. The company says it supports more than 25 languages, holds up in noisy environments and across accents, cuts time-to-first-audio to about 0.70 seconds from 1.25 seconds in version 1.0, and delivers roughly 1.4x better transcription than the prior release alongside improved speech reasoning and tool-use reliability. The model is available through xAI’s Agent Builder and Voice API, with the existing grok-voice-latest endpoint set to move to 2.0 in early August, and it is already exposed through Vercel’s AI Gateway.
