1. Google DeepMind Launches Lyria 3.5 Music Model

Google. Google DeepMind launched Lyria 3.5, its newest music generation model, inside Google Flow Music. The update improves musicality, delivers better lyrics and vocals with more accurate pronunciation, and adds creative controls including tempo and output duration, generating tracks from roughly 30 seconds to 3 minutes. A new selective section-editing feature lets users regenerate specific portions of a track without recomposing the whole piece, which brings the tool closer to an iterative production workflow rather than one-shot generation.
