Perplexity. Perplexity released a Windows version of its Personal Computer agentic software, extending the assistant beyond its original macOS release. With user permission, the agent can reach local files and applications to create documents, edit spreadsheets, organize files, run research, and coordinate multi-app workflows, bridging local files, Microsoft 365, and the web through a conversational interface. It launches first for Max and Enterprise Max subscribers, with safeguards including no use of data for model training, user approval for sensitive actions, and activity logging. Source
