NVIDIA AI Updates: July 3, 2026

1. NVIDIA Brings Hardware-Rooted Confidential Computing to Blackwell GPUs

NVIDIA. NVIDIA detailed Confidential Computing for its Blackwell GPUs, a hardware-rooted security approach that protects sensitive AI models and data while they are in use during inference. The system spans silicon, interconnects, and system software, using features such as fused private signing keys and NVLink encryption to keep workloads isolated and protected. NVIDIA said the protections run at about 98 percent of the performance of configurations without Confidential Computing, making the security practical for production deployments concerned with data privacy and sovereignty.
