1. Microsoft Launches Frontier Company for Enterprise AI Deployment
Microsoft. Microsoft announced a new operating business called Microsoft Frontier Company, backed by a $2.5 billion investment and 6,000 industry and engineering experts, to help enterprises put its existing AI tools into production. Commercial Business CEO Judson Althoff described it as going beyond forward-deployed engineering and called it the largest, most capable, outcome-driven engineering organization in the industry. Early partners include the London Stock Exchange Group, Unilever, Land O’Lakes, and Accenture, and the launch follows a similar $1 billion AI deployment venture from Amazon Web Services two days earlier.
