1. Claude Desktop Brings Full Experience to AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Foundry
Anthropic announced that Claude Desktop now offers its complete experience, including chat, Claude Cowork, and Claude Code, across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Foundry deployments, letting organizations keep inference control within their own environments. The release adds per-user SSO, MDM policy templates, an offline installer option, and an M365 connector that can run entirely on the device. 2. Claude Code v2.1.186 Adds CLI Commands for MCP Server Authentication
Claude Code v2.1.186, tagged June 22, added claude mcp login <name> and claude mcp logout <name> commands that let users authenticate MCP servers directly from the CLI without using the interactive /mcp menu. The commands support a --no-browser stdin redirect option designed for SSH environments. The intermediate v2.1.185 release contained no new features under its Added section. Source
3. Quantium Scales Claude Across Australia’s Largest Enterprises
Anthropic published a customer story on Quantium, an Australia-based AI and data analytics firm of about 1,200 people that deployed Claude Enterprise organization-wide and reached 91 percent weekly usage among employees. Around 600 employees use Claude Code for development, while leadership uses Claude Cowork for research, data automation, and inbox management. Quantium also built a peer-to-peer training program called AI Executive Edge, in which its executives teach C-suite leaders at other companies how to use Claude. Source
