OpenAI AI Updates: June 22, 2026
1. Samsung Electronics Deploys ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to Employees
OpenAI announced that Samsung Electronics is rolling out ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to employees, making it one of OpenAI’s largest enterprise deployments to date. ChatGPT and Codex will be available to all Samsung Electronics employees in Korea and to all employees worldwide in its Device eXperience division, supporting work across software development, marketing, product development, and manufacturing. The deployment relies on ChatGPT Enterprise data protection, access management, and security controls so staff can use the tools within Samsung’s governance framework. Source
2. OpenAI Replaces Pulse With Scheduled Task Controls in ChatGPT
OpenAI added a Scheduled page to the ChatGPT sidebar that centralizes recurring tasks for viewing, pausing, editing, and deletion, retiring the earlier Pulse feature. Scheduled research tasks can search the web and connected apps on a set cadence and notify the user only when something changes, rather than pushing daily digests. The shift moves ChatGPT further toward acting as a standing personal assistant that runs background work on the user’s behalf. Source
