1. Microsoft Building Autonomous Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot with Enterprise Security Controls

Microsoft. Microsoft is developing an OpenClaw-style autonomous agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot, led by a small internal team under CVP Omar Shahine. Unlike the open-source OpenClaw, the new agent is designed specifically for enterprise environments with stronger security controls around file access, email actions, and external API calls.
