1. NVIDIA Partners with Marvell via NVLink Fusion, Makes $2B Preferred Investment

NVIDIA. NVIDIA announced a strategic partnership with Marvell Technology that connects Marvell’s custom XPUs and scale-up networking into the NVIDIA AI factory ecosystem through NVLink Fusion, an open interconnect interface that lets third-party silicon plug into NVIDIA’s high-bandwidth memory and communication fabric. Alongside the partnership, NVIDIA made a $2 billion preferred equity investment in Marvell. The collaboration targets AI infrastructure bottlenecks around bandwidth and energy efficiency, with a joint focus on silicon photonics and high-speed optical interconnects for next-generation AI clusters.
