Mistral. Microsoft and Mistral announced an expanded strategic partnership on July 21 aimed at giving enterprises and regulated industries more control over frontier AI deployments. Microsoft committed a multibillion-dollar investment to tap Mistral’s expanded GPU capacity in Europe, built on thousands of NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs, and added Mistral Medium 3.5 and OCR 4 to the Microsoft Foundry model catalog, with Medium 3.5 also reaching Copilot Studio.
