1. Pydantic AI Ships v2.9.1 Patch With JSON Schema Fix and a ReDoS Dependency Bump

Pydantic AI. Pydantic AI released v2.9.1, a follow-up patch to last week’s v2.9.0 that fixes typed composition member recursion in the JsonSchemaTransformer and corrects handling of integer timeout values in MistralModel. The release also bumps the soupsieve dependency to pick up a fix for CVE-2026-49477, a regular expression denial-of-service vulnerability.
