OpenAI AI Updates: October 29, 2026

1. OpenAI and ServiceNow Expand Partnership to Bring ServiceNow Workflows Into ChatGPT and Codex

OpenAI and ServiceNow expanded their partnership in both directions. OpenAI models and agents will be brought into ServiceNow and its workflows, and ServiceNow workflows will be made available inside ChatGPT and Codex. This builds on the January 2026 agreement, which made OpenAI models a preferred option for ServiceNow enterprise customers. OpenAI’s announcement page could not be retrieved, so details on timing, pricing, and specific integrations were not confirmed. Source

OpenAI published a customer story on Legora, which is building what it calls an agentic operating system for legal work. According to the summary, Legora uses OpenAI models, ChatGPT, and Codex to speed up legal workflows and broaden contract analysis so lawyers can spend more time on higher-value work. An earlier OpenAI post (September 2026) reported that Legora used GPT-6 Astra to review 41 documents in minutes and find all four planted errors in a financial-review test. Source

3. OpenAI Says Dots Will Reach More of Europe “in a Few Weeks” at DevDay Exchange Berlin

OpenAI mostly repeated its San Francisco DevDay announcements at DevDay Exchange in Berlin, but it shared a few new details. Romain Huet, OpenAI’s head of developer experience, said Dots, its always-on proactive agent product, should become more widely available in Europe “in a few weeks,” pending talks with regulators. Personal Pro accounts in the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK are still excluded, though some business accounts already have access. OpenAI said weekly active Codex users in Germany have grown twentyfold since January (up from sevenfold reported in June), without giving absolute numbers. It also said nearly one in five Codex desktop users apply skills to documents, presentations, or spreadsheets. Source
