1. Salesforce in Claude Shipped in Beta With 37 Sales Skills

A Salesforce plugin for Claude entered beta, pairing a Salesforce connector that both reads records and writes back (updating opportunities, logging calls, creating tasks) with a Slack connector for deal channels and account-team threads. The plugin bundles 37 skills covering morning briefings, call prep assembled from Salesforce plus Slack plus email, deal scoring, post-call opportunity updates, and drill-down pipeline dashboards. 2. Installation Runs Through AgentExchange, and 7,000 Salesforce Sellers Are Already On It

Anthropic. Access is gated behind an admin activation in AgentExchange, with the underlying Salesforce MCP server published to the marketplace for teams that want to wire it up directly. The workflows target bookkeeping and sales admin specifically: weekly financial briefs covering cash position and overdue invoices, automatic inbound lead qualification, voice memos converted into priced proposals, and month-end close packets. Anthropic put total installations past 900,000 and paired the launch with free workshops in ten U.S. cities and partnerships with Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. Source

4. Claude Code 2.1.273 Added Gateway Request Headers and Forking of Remote Control Sessions

Anthropic. The release introduced four opt-in request headers for LLM gateways (x-claude-code-request-class, x-claude-code-agent-type, x-claude-code-prev-tool-durations, and x-claude-code-compaction), giving proxy operators routing signals about what a request is and how long prior tool calls took. Sessions started with claude --remote-control or /remote-control can now be forked from the Claude app into background sessions on a local machine.
