1. LangChain Newsletter Details Managed Deep Agents and LLM Gateway Betas
LangChain. LangChain’s August 2026 newsletter announced a public beta of Managed Deep Agents, which lets teams deploy agents to managed LangSmith runtimes with durable execution, sandboxes, and tracing built in. The company also opened a public beta of an LLM Gateway that adds production controls such as cost limits, rate limits, model fallbacks, and sensitive data handling. 2. Deep Agents v0.7 Reduces Base Input Tokens by 65 Percent
LangChain. The newsletter reported that Deep Agents v0.7, the open-source release, cuts base input tokens by about 65 percent at comparable performance. LangChain also highlighted customer results, including Stripe scaling an internal productivity agent from 296 to more than 5,000 users and Apollo reducing new agent development time by roughly 80 to 85 percent.
