1. Google Introduces Gemini 3.7 Flash for Coding and Agents

Google. Google DeepMind introduced Gemini 3.7 Flash, which it calls its most intelligent workhorse model for coding and agents, arriving just three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash. The model posts sizable gains on coding and agentic benchmarks, including 43.6% on FrontierCode 1.1 (up from 34.4%), 30.4% on AutomationBench (up from 17.0%), and a WebDev Arena Elo of 1588. Through December 31, 2026 it is priced at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens, half the launch price of 3.6 Flash, and is available in Google AI Studio, Android Studio, and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform across more than 160 countries. 2. Sheets Canvas Turns Spreadsheet Data Into Gemini-Built Dashboards

Google. Google rolled out Sheets canvas, a Gemini-powered feature that turns spreadsheet data into interactive dashboards and apps from a natural-language prompt. The canvas sits as a read-write layer on top of the underlying sheet and stays synchronized in real time, so edits flow both ways without any coding. It began rolling out August 13 to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and to Workspace Business and Enterprise Standard and Plus customers. Source
