1. Cohere Signs EU Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content

Cohere. Cohere signed the EU’s Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content, a voluntary framework implementing the transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act. The code asks generative AI providers to mark synthetic audio, image, video, and text outputs in a machine-readable format, typically by combining digitally signed metadata with imperceptible watermarking. Cohere joins early signatories including Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Mistral, and OpenAI. Source
