1. Google Adds Image Generation to AI Overviews for Google Images’ 25th Anniversary

Google. Google marked the 25th anniversary of Google Images by rolling out a redesigned Images Home with personalized recommendations and saved collections on desktop in the US, alongside expanded image generation inside AI Overviews in Search. The generation feature turns a text prompt into a custom visual using Google’s latest Nano Banana image model and is expanding across supported regions in English. The post also highlighted multimodal search capabilities such as Lens combined with AI Mode and Search Live for video-based conversations. Source
