1. Google DeepMind and India’s Atal Innovation Mission Launch ATL Saathi

Google. Google DeepMind and India’s Atal Innovation Mission (part of NITI Aayog) launched a live pilot of ATL Saathi, a Gemini-powered web application that serves as a 24/7 planning and training assistant for educators at Atal Tinkering Labs. The tool runs on the Gemini 3.5 Flash model and uses NotebookLM to generate curriculum-aligned project ideas, summaries, infographics, video overviews, and quizzes across 12 core modules in eight languages. The pilot begins with an initial cohort of 100 schools, targeting educators who mentor over 11 million students across India. Source
