1. Muse Spark 1.1 Arrives on the Vercel AI Gateway

Vercel. Vercel added Meta’s Muse Spark 1.1, a multimodal reasoning model with a 1M token context window, to its AI Gateway. The model accepts text, image, video, PDF, and audio inputs and supports parallel tool calling and structured output, making it accessible through the AI SDK. Source

2. GPT 5.6 Sol, Luna, and Terra Land on the AI Gateway

Vercel. Vercel brought OpenAI’s GPT 5.6 to its AI Gateway in limited preview across three variants, Sol, Luna, and Terra, that are optimized for agentic work. The models offer stronger performance at reduced token costs compared to earlier generations and integrate with AI SDK routing. Source

3. AI SDK xAI Provider Adds Video Reference Inputs and Grok 4.5

Vercel. Vercel released @ai-sdk/xai@4.0.10, which extends inputReferences to support video, not just image, reference inputs and adds the grok-4.5 model ID to the provider. A matching @ai-sdk/xai@3.0.106 carries the same changes to the provider’s 3.x line. Source
