1. OpenAI Ships Codex CLI 0.140.0 With Usage Analytics and Claude Code Import

OpenAI released Codex CLI 0.140.0, adding a /usage view that tracks daily, weekly, and cumulative account token activity, along with permanent session deletion through codex delete and /delete with confirmation safeguards. The update introduces an /import command for selectively bringing setup, project configuration, and recent chats over from Claude Code, plus a unified @ mentions menu for files, plugins, and skills.
