1. Perplexity ships Personal Computer, upgrades Deep Research to Opus 4.6, opens Comet Enterprise

Perplexity. Perplexity announced three updates: Personal Computer (always-on AI on a dedicated Mac mini that proxies user work 24/7, with explicit per-action approval, audit trail, and kill switch), Deep Research now running on Anthropic’s Opus 4.6 for Max users (gradually rolling out to Pro), and Comet, Perplexity’s AI-native browser with Comet Assistant, going to Enterprise organizations with MDM silent deployment on macOS and Windows plus hundreds of browser policies for admins.
