Microsoft, ANZ, HSBC, and Lloyds unveiled a proof of concept embedding generative AI agents directly into corporate ERP systems to automate document processing, validate trade data, and surface discrepancies before securely transmitting structured information to banks. The project aims to move trade finance away from paper-heavy workflows toward digital, standards-aligned processing, and is one of the first multi-bank deployments of agent-driven document intelligence inside the ERP.
