Apple ML Research published a paper introducing GAAT (Governance-Aware Agent Telemetry), a reference architecture that closes the gap between telemetry collection and automated policy enforcement in enterprise multi-agent AI systems. The system achieves a 98.3% violation prevention rate with 8.4ms detection latency on synthetic flows and 99.7% on production-realistic traces, outperforming comparable guardrail systems by 19.5 percentage points. The architecture includes an extended telemetry schema, real-time policy violation detection, a graduated intervention bus, and a cryptographically-secured telemetry plane. Source
